European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

Applications are now closed

The European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (EBEEDM) is a written exam held online through remote invigilation. 

Please note you will not be asked to pay the exam fee on initial application. You will be contacted after the closing date, with a link to complete the exam payment fee.

For those who are awarded the ESE grant, you will be sent a link to the discounted payment.

All other applicants will be sent a link for the full exam fee.

This exam is delivered through remote invigilation which allows exam candidates to sit the exam anywhere in the world, provided they have a reliable internet connection. Find out more about remote invigilation. 

  • Verifications are completed up to two weeks after the closing date for applications.
  • Results are sent via email six weeks after the exam date.

ESE Examination Grant

ESE provides a limited number of grants to cover 50% of the cost of taking the European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

These grants will only be available to ESE members who are in the ‘in-training’ or ‘reduced rate’ categories, and will be for 50% of the registration fee.

Applications for the 2023 ESE Examination Grant will be open from 16 August 2023 until 13 September 2023.
