European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

The next European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (EBEEDM) will be held on Friday 12 December 2025. Applications will open here on 20 August 2025 and will close on 24 September 2025.  

The EBEEDM is a written exam held online through remote invigilation which allows exam candidates to sit the exam anywhere in the world, provided they have a reliable internet connection. Find out more about remote invigilation.

ESE Sanctions Policy 

  • Verifications are completed up to two weeks after the closing date for applications.
  • Results are sent via email six weeks after the exam date.

ESE Examination Grant

ESE provides a limited number of grants to cover 50% of the cost of taking the European Board Examination in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.

These grants will only be available to ESE members who are in the ‘in-training’ or ‘reduced rate’ categories, and will be for 50% of the registration fee.

Applications for the 2025 ESE Examination Grant will open in the ESE Website on 20 June 2025 until 7 August 2025
