How to apply for CPD accreditation

As well as our own CPD courses and events, we also offer an accreditation system for eligible CPD activities run by third parties. This section takes organisers through the process.

New CPD Accreditation Framework

The Medical Council has introduced a new formal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation Framework to strengthen the quality and consistency of CPD for doctors. The new Framework comes into effect on 1 July 2026
