Get ready for your Annual Statement
The Professional Competence year ends on 30 April 2024. Here is a checklist of what you need to record in your ePortfolio that will help you make sure you have met your Medical Council requirements in good time.

- Last day to enrol or renew on a 2023-2024 Professional Competence Scheme
- If you have a medically certified absence from practice for 90 or more consecutive dates, you must submit an Absence from Practice form by 30 April 2024 so that it can be processed in time for an annotation to appear on your Annual Statement

Enrolment and renewal for 2024-2025 opens*
- It is very important to make sure that you renew your enrolment for 2024-2025 as soon as possible.
- The online renewal links will be available immediately on 1 May 2024
- If you have a direct debit in place to pay your renewal, you will be automatically renewed for the new year
- We will send notifications to those who have not yet renewed a few days later
Remember that you will need to be able to declare your enrolment when you apply fo the Irish Medical Council for your Annual Retention
*Fellows and Members whose College, Faculty or Institute subscriptions are up to date on 30 April 2024 will receive a discount on their 2024-2025 Professional Competence renewal fee
