Over the past year, RCPI has continued to strengthen its commitment to staff development through the rollout and expansion of Learn365, the organisation's learning management system. Following its procurement in late 2024 and implementation across 2025, Learn365 has become a central hub for learning, helping staff access training, track progress, and manage professional development in a more consistent and accessible way.
The platform has transformed the onboarding experience for new staff, providing a structured and standardised learning pathway that ensures employees receive the knowledge and support they need from their first days in the College. Organisation-wide initiatives, including cybersecurity awareness training, have also been delivered through Learn365, creating a more streamlined approach to mandatory training and compliance monitoring.
Throughout the year, the range of learning opportunities available through the platform continued to grow. Staff can now access training across a broad spectrum of topics, including Microsoft applications, internal systems, leadership development, wellbeing, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), workplace culture, and professional skills development. New courses developed specifically for RCPI include Promoting Wellness, Inclusion, Diversity and Equality/Equity at RCPI, which supports the College's commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. Additional learning resources focus on areas such as ergonomics, fire safety, and understanding the structure, people and mission of RCPI.
One of the most significant benefits of Learn365 has been improved accessibility. Staff can engage with learning at a time and pace that suits them, while managers and administrators have greater visibility of training completion and compliance requirements. By making learning easier to access, manage and personalise, Learn365 has helped foster a stronger culture of ownership, engagement and continuous development across the organisation, supporting RCPI's ambition to be a workplace where people can learn, grow and thriv
