Staff, trainees, members, and fellows took to the streets of Dublin on Sunday, 28 June to join over 100,000 people marching for Pride 2026. This was the second year RCPI staff joined the Pride March and the first where trainees, members and fellows joined the celebrations.
Proudly holding RCPI banners, the delegation set off from No. 6 Kildare Street early to meet the parade. We bumped into many friendly faces along the way.

At RCPI, our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion extends beyond Pride. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for LGBTQI+ staff, learners, trainees, members and fellows, and advocating for healthcare that is accessible, respectful and inclusive for all. By participating in Pride, we reaffirm our support for the LGBTQI+ community and our belief that everyone should feel valued, represented and empowered to thrive, both within the medical profession and in the healthcare system more broadly.
