We are often asked to nominate doctors to join external working groups, committees and organisations to represent the College's views or provide specific medical expertise.
From time to time, we also have clinician vacancies within our own organisation such as Director roles, committee vacancies and clinical leads for new initiatives.

The National Office of Clinical Audit (NOCA) is establishing a panel of external peer reviewers for its annual reports. External peer reviewers will review the annual report from national clinical audits governed and managed by NOCA. This is open to healthcare professionals who have an interest in audit and the clinical specialty covered in the audit. We are inviting expressions of interest from RCPI Fellows (in good standing) for nomination to the National Office of Clinical Audit (NOCA) National ICU Audit Governance Committee for a three year term as the RCPI representative.
The Institute of Medicine Board will be established in January 2020 and we are inviting expressions of interest from RCPI Fellows in Medicine to become Members of the Board. Applications are invited from Fellows in all Medicine specialties except Respiratory Medicine, as this specialty is already sufficiently represented on the Board at this time.
Applications are currently being sought for a National Clinical Lead for the National Heart Programme. This person will be responsible for the oversight and the development of the National Heart Programme, providing leadership and guidance. The Dun’s Librarian is responsible for overseeing all matters relating to the RCPI Heritage Centre. They will develop the strategy for the Heritage Centre in close collaboration with the Keeper of Collections. They will be an advocate and spokesperson on behalf of RCPI in raising awareness of our historic collections and their ongoing development.
