Ireland Clinical Examinations
Our next examinations in Ireland are currently planned to take place between 27 May - 28 June 2024, this is subject to change but we do plan to hold the examinations between these dates. This examination opened on March 13th at 12pm Irish time and will close on Friday, 5th April at 5pm Irish time.
Candidates awaiting results from the March Part II Written examination cannot apply until they receive their results. You should not apply unless you are eligible. We may reopen the examination after the planned closing date, we will communicate this to candidates after the March results are sent in April if they passed.
As there are a large number of candidates waiting to take the MRCPI Part II GM Clinical Examination in 2024, the number of applications is expected to exceed the places we can offer at this time. As with previous diets, places will be prioritised. Those who have been allocated a place for the exam will be contacted before the end of the following week (12 April) to pay the outstanding fees to confirm their slot. Once places are accepted and allocated, we will then allocate candidates to their specific venues/dates. We aim to fill all available places and inform a majority of candidates of their exam date/venue by the end of April.
Applicants who cannot be offered a place for this exam, will remain on the waiting list. If a place becomes available due to a candidate withdrawing from the exam, this place will be offered to the next eligible person. The next examination to take place in Ireland following this diet, will be in September/October 2024.
Results for this clinical exam are expected to be released in mid-late July 2024.
