RCPI Appoints Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships
The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland has appointed Eleanor Flew as Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships.
This is a new role focused on building relationships and securing funds to support key initiatives, including the development of RCPI’s Medical Museum. The Director will collaborate with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Museum Board to drive fundraising efforts and build a network of individual donors, philanthropic and corporate partners and explore state funding opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include devising and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, managing relationships with corporate partners, individual donors, and philanthropic foundations, and leading a major capital campaign to deliver the RCPI Medical Museum. The Director will also oversee the development of donor proposals and grant applications, ensuring all governance and legal requirements are met.
Eleanor joins the college from Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services where she was, for over a decade, Director of Fundraising and Communications. We welcome Eleanor to the college.
