Two Fellowships in Rheumatology now open for applications

Apply now for AbbVie Bresnihan Molloy International Education Fellowship and Pfizer Travelling Scholarship

Apply by by 5pm Friday 3 March 2017

Applications have opened for two Rheumatology fellowships:

  • AbbVie Bresnihan Molloy International Education Fellowship, valued at €50,000
  • Pfizer Travelling Scholarship, valued at €50,000

These fellowships are open to SpRs in Rheumatology.

To apply, you will need to submit applications (one per fellowship) to your HST Coordinator, Theresa Murphy, by 5pm Friday 3 March 2017.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 10 March in RCPI. You will only need to attend one interview for both fellowships. Interviews will take 20 minutes and you will be required to do a presentation.

You will fill out a preference form on the day of interview to say which of the two fellowships you would prefer.

Bresnihan Molloy Fellowship 2017

The Fellowship, in its fourth year running, will be offered to one Rheumatology SpR. The funding will support the award recipient to pursue training in the field of Rheumatology outside of Ireland. The award is valued at €50,000 per year over a two-year period.

Pfizer Travelling Fellowship 2017

Applications are now open for the Pfizer Travelling Fellowship in Rheumatology. The fellowship is open to all Rheumatology SpRs on the RCPI training scheme. The award is valued at €50,000.
