About Us

The Quality Enhancement Office is responsible for overseeing a robust and consistent approach to quality within RCPI and acts as an independent source of support for all quality activities.

Our Work

We have developed a centralised Quality Enhancement Office within RCPI’s structure that will continue to develop the quality framework for RCPI and support the implementation of our quality assurance strategy. It also provides advice and assistance to staff undertaking external accreditation.

Training Site Quality Improvement Process

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is committed to delivering world-class postgraduate training. Since 2021 RCPI has followed a quality improvement model which evaluates the Trainee, Trainer and site environmental factors which influence training outcomes.
