Training Site QI Process

Our Work

Over the next three years, we will develop a centralised Quality Enhancement Office within RCPI’s structure that will further develop the quality framework for RCPI and support the implementation of a quality assurance strategy. It will also provide advice and assistance to staff undertaking quality reviews.

Training Site Quality Improvement Process

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is committed to delivering world-class postgraduate training. In line with international and national practices, RCPI identified the need to transfer from a hospital inspection process to a continuous quality-improvement model. This model evaluates the Trainee, Trainer and site environmental factors that influence training outcomes.
