Process of electing Senior Fellows for 2016 - 2018 has begun

On 18 October 2016 the term of the five Senior Fellows currently on RCPI Council will come to an end.

The process of electing Senior Fellows for the next two year term has begun.

This two-year term will begin in October 2016.

Apply by Friday 5 August 2016

To be eligible, you must

  • hold Fellowship of the College (FRCPI) for more than 10 years
  • be in good standing.

Nomination forms and guidelines have been circulated to all eligible Fellows of the College. These can also be accessed by clicking on the links below, or can be requested by emailing college@rcpi.ie.

Nomination forms must be returned by Friday 5 August 2016 and can be submitted online, or returned to the College by email or post.

The election timeline

  • 24 June - Call for nominations from eligible Fellows
  • 5 August - Deadline for returned nominations by eligible Fellows
  • 31 August - Ballot voting papers posted to all Fellows eligible to vote
  • 5 October - Deadline for return of completed ballot voting papers
  • 6 October - Ballot count
  • 18 October - Annual Stated Meeting: New appointments formally approved by Fellows of the College
