President of RCPI Professor Mary Horgan welcomed the new Members in No.6 Kildare St, saying,

This College is now your College, and you should feel entirely at home here. You are the future of the College. On behalf of all of the Council and Officers of the College, I congratulate you.”
“Our focus is nurturing doctors for life. It is my vision, as President, to enable you to provide world-class care in a supportive work environment where you and your patients feel valued and respected.
Passing the Membership Examination is a very significant achievement and all the more so given that you have busy clinical jobs. I would encourage you to become involved with your college and to join us for our events throughout the year," Prof Horgan said.
