We are running a Clinical Skills in General Medicine course on Saturday 13 May 2017.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how well you currently perform targeted physical examinations, including Respiratory, Cardiology, Endocrine and Abdominal exams.
The course is highly interactive, featuring simulated patients and a course tutor with extensive behind-the-scenes experience of running the MRCPI Part II Clinical exam. You will be able to put skills into practice and get expert feedback on your technique.
You will also learn the best way to take a patient history and how to present your findings to senior team members in an effective and fluent manner.
Our experienced course tutors will also tell you how elements of the course can be applied to the MRCPI General Medicine Clinical examination, and what you need to consider when examining an elderly patient.
This course is highly recommended for doctors in Basic Specialist Training in General Medicine, especially those who haven't yet rotated through one of the core specialties for BST.
