As the 2020/2021 medical training year draws to a close, we are asking all doctors in Basic and Higher Specialist Training to complete our annual Training Post Evaluation.
The Training Post Evaluation allows you to provide honest and anonymous feedback on your training experience. The evaluation is short, online, and completely confidential. It asks for your feedback on areas such as the training posts you were in this year, working conditions and support structures during the training year.
How do I complete my Training Post Evaluation?
By now, all doctors in training should have received a link to the Training Post Evaluation via email. If you have yet to receive the link, please contact us.
When you complete your Training Post Evaluation, you will be given the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of two iPads.
The closing date to complete your Training Post Evaluation is Thursday, 29 July 2021.
Why is your feedback important?
Your feedback will help us to continually improve the quality of training for our Trainees. The Training Post Evaluation (TPE) was launched by RCPI in 2016 and since then, it has helped us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of specific posts or training sites so that we can continually improve the quality of training. This year, as five years of data has been gathered, the TPE data will be used to inform each specialty review during our Site Quality Improvement (QI) Visits.
Without Trainee feedback, we would not have this valuable evidence base on which we can plan continuous quality improvement initiatives.
