Congratulations to our newest Members!

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland will welcome 420 new Members in a series of ceremonies at No. 6 Kildare Street from 4 - 7 April 2022, the first in-person Conferrings at the College since December 2019.

Our newest Members being conferred this week hold 33 different nationalities from all over the world.

All ceremonies will be available to view live on the RCPI YouTube channel.

For those being conferred In Absentia, a virtual ceremony will be broadcast live from the RCPI YouTube channel on 7 April at 7pm.

Founded in 1654, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland is the largest and the oldest medical training body in Ireland.

Dr. Aaron Duncan, Prof Mary Horgan, President RCPI, Dr. Sinead Kilgarriff, Dr. Aoife Courtney

"I'm delighted that you are joining us as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland - an organisation that dates back to 1654. Passing the Membership Examination is a very significant achievement and all the more so given that many of you have been on the front line during the COVID-19 pandemic. You are now part of an international network of 12,000 respected physicians across over 90 countries. This College is now your College, and you should feel entirely at home here. You are the future of this College. On behalf of all of the Council and Officers of the College, I congratulate you. Our focus is on nurturing doctors. Our mission is very simple: training and educating our doctors and advocating for the needs of our population. It is my vision, as President, to enable you to provide world-class care in a supportive work environment where you and your patients feel valued and respected. I only do my job if I enable you to reach your full potential. I would encourage you to become involved with your college and to join us for our events throughout the year."
