RCPI welcomes 69 new Fellows in a special Virtual Ceremony

Royal College of Physicians of Ireland will welcome 69 new Fellows in a special virtual Ceremony broadcast live from No 6 Kildare St on Friday 15 October 2021.

The new Fellows come from numerous different specialties including Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Internal Medicine, General Practice, Geriatric Medicine, GIM Cardiology, Hepatology, Histopathology, Medical Oncology, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Nuclear Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Occupational Medicine, Paediatric Oncology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry of Later Life, Public Health Medicine, Pulmonologist, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Tropical and General Medicine with Infectious Diseases.

We will also be welcoming Fellows from all over the world including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, India, Sudan, United Kingdom, USA, Singapore, Bangladesh, Turkey, Malaysia, Canada, New Zealand, Palestine, Nicaragua & Ireland.

Speaking at the ceremony, RCPI President Prof Mary Horgan said:

Becoming a Fellow means that you have been recognised by your peers for your contribution to your speciality. It is a major career milestone. It is a great privilege to celebrate your achievement with you today. My advice to you is to embrace change, appreciate those around you. Don’t be afraid to advocate for your patients. We are here in the College to help you with that.
